A Blessing In Disguise

Unfortunately, one of the primary aggregates, Elemix, chosen for developing several mixes is no longer being manufactured or sold. Therefore, this material can no longer be considered for the construction of the concrete canoe. Despite this unforeseen circumstance, the Mix Design team continued to work hard and performed numerous hours of research to find alternatives. The Mix Design team decided to use grated recycled materials such as styrofoam and plastic as substitutes to Elemix. This will become their enhanced focus area.
